Test strips for the measurement of water values are enjoying greater popularity because they provide a simple and rapid method for quick analysis. When compared to the visual measurements of the Pooltester, there is naturally a significant disadvantage in the size of the colored field and thus in the possibility of making an exact comparison on the color scale. The shelf-life of the Test Strips is substantially less than that of the reagent tablets that are being used in the Pool Testers.
